Presentation of DO Catalunya in the Polish Market

On Tuesday, 22nd March at 6 p.m., DO Catalunya is organising a tasting session aimed at professionals in the Polish market under the slogan “Mediterranean wines with more than 2,000 years of winemaking tradition”. As already occurred in January in the Mexican market, this action emphasises the Mediterranean essence of Catalan wines, and specifically those under the DO Catalunya label.

The tasting session will be held remotely for a small group of professionals in Poland who will be able to sample up to 9 different DO Catalunya references in order to get an idea for the wide range of products sold under the DO.

The tasting session will be hosted by the secretary of the Regulatory Council, Anton Castellà, and led by representatives from the participating wineries. The professionals attending will be able to find out more about the unique characteristics of DO Catalunya and the wines marketed under its label, which represent more than 50% of the Catalan wine bottled with a DO. The wineries participating in the tasting session are Cellers Domenys, Marqués de La Concordia, Bodegues Visenda, Familia Torres, Mas de la Pansa, Castell d’Or, Bodegas Puiggròs, Sant Josep Wines and Agrícola Casa Sala.
