All DO Catalunya wines either seek the maximum expression of the raw materials – the grape, through fermentation of must in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control – or present the characteristic bouquet of contact with oak which, at the same time, enriches them with greater complexity.
Amongst the variety of wines we find:
1. White, rosé and red wines.
2. Crianzas, reservas and grandes reservas, aged in the barrel for a minimum of 6, 12 or 24 months in the case of reds, and a total ageing period of 2, 3 or 5 years respectively.
3. Sparkling wines and liqueur wines.
We will find unusual blends in accordance with the various options offered by the wide range of authorized grape varieties. The varieties traditionally cultivated in Catalonia are often blended with the foreign varieties recently planted in our territory.
